The acquisition of Ristaccia by the Eight Ancient Races, one of the first events in the Epic (c. Melius -2500)

This is a non-exhaustive timeline of the main events occurring in The Epic of Zektbach.

Before History

• About 2500: The eight fragments of Ristaccia are discovered by the Eight Ancient Races, which kickstarts their evolution under the influence of the jewel.

• About 1000: Some of the Humina cross over from the Galukia Continent and reach the continent of Eijeek.

• About 900: The people living in southern Eijeek discover and explore ancient ruins on Junaguni Island.

• About 800: Mount Mifushi erupts, dividing the north and south of the Eijeek continent by isolating those on either side. The eruption causes numerous casualties, reducing the continent's population significantly.

• 600: In the vicinity of Wenkamui, the Gadena commit genocide against the Humina-race people of Kagachi after having been exposed to Ristaccia's light and becoming self-aware.

• 500: On Mount Mifushi, the ancestral miko Ame no Uzume becomes the focus of a sacred mountain cult. The people calling themselves the Yamaji appear.

• About 350: The Ristaccia War begins. The eight races enhance their weapons by equipping them with Ristaccia shards. This causes great damage to the planet.

• 300: Yamaji settlements experience a terrible famine.

• About 250: The Ristaccia War ends. Six of the eight races have been completely destroyed.
• About 200: The Rufina create a memeplex named Sigma and vanish.

• 182: On Eijeek, the nation of Masinowa is founded by the Humina.

• About 100: On Galukia, the Humina reinstate the worship of Ristaccia, which died out after the war, in the form of a cult dedicated to the Ristaccia Sword Trisagion, whom their consider to have protected the Humina race from extinction. By the hand of Ariates Jusis, the religious institution called the Trisagionid is established.

• About 100: The Trisagionid expands its influence across the continent.

• About 50: The Trisagionid continues to spread in towns throughout Galukia.

Melius Calendar

• 1: The Holy Kingdom of Noigllado is founded by Melius Jusis, the grandson of Ariates and the highest priest of the Trisagionid. The first year of the Melius Calendar starts on this day.
• 9: Gijiri is born in the Kagachi slum of Jakotsu.

• 23: Gijiri burns down Jakotsu.

• 32: Gijiri, the leader of Masinowa-based explorer and mercenary unit Sazaragi, creates a "devil's lair", or eugenics laboratory, in Wenkamui. Majin, an artificial enhancement of the Humina, begin to emerge.

• 65: The Majin start going rogue.

• 98: A magician named Ido sacrifices himself to seal Wenkamui's "devil lair". The Majin disappear.

• 119: Gijiri takes over the House of Inomikado, one of Masinowa's four sacred ruling houses.

• 122: Amatsu Kunue no Himemiko, the "heavenly god child" and 15th descendant of Ame no Uzume, is assassinated.

• 143: The explorers of the Sazaragi agency reach the island of Turii. One of their members, Kukaru, saves one of its inhabitants, Malchut, from drowning, bringing her with him to Masinowa.

• 145: The Kingdom of Masinowa is abruptly and completely destroyed.

• 150: A strange plague strikes Novarista, capital of the Holy Kingdom. Those struck by it lose all consciousness and memory.
• 154-3: The king of Noigllado orders all sufferers of the plague to be banished by boat and left for dead.
• 568-11: To resist the racial policy against the Nasem ethnic group, a hero named Rasheed and his mercenaries occupy the region of Pananora, establishing a new country named the Kingdom of Azuelgatt.
• 575-12: The army of Azuelgatt occupies Queid Mines.
• 583-5: For the sake of the mine's resources, the Holy Kingdom of Noigllado has to recognize Azuelgatt as an independent country.
• 643-1: A grand peacemaking ceremony is held between the two countries. In a preventive effort against absolute monarchy in Noigllado, an agency named Agiona is established, with the status of a social class of its own.
• 701-3: Shamshir is born in Amuss, Azuelgatt.
• 709-2: Lien is born in Ridenburg, Noigllado.
• 716-7: Shamshir leaves her army to seek a legendary scimitar. Agiona secretly maneuvers to seize power in the Holy Kingdom from its Emperor.
• 717-6: The Holy Kingdom makes a sudden strike against Azuelgatt.
• 719-4: At Doroah Fortress, the invading army led by Adnowell, commander in chief of Noigllado's holy knightage, is brutally attacked by Shamshir and loses more than half of its men. Adnowell is beheaded.
• 719-9: At Ostrista River, Adnowell's army, left without a leader, is thrashed again by Shamshir.
• 719-11: Shamshir occupies Madura and drives her army to Novarista.
• 719-12: The Emperor of Noigllado is made a scapegoat for the war against Azuelgatt, and sentenced to death by Agiona. The war ends with the Kingdom Of Azuelgatt becoming the largest country on the continent, occupying more than two thirds of the whole territory.
• 720-6: Hannes is born in Fallarien, the island where the plague exiles landed.
• 720-7: Shamshir abruptly kills several innocent people in an event later called the Tragedy of Isfaphan. The Kingdom of Azuelgatt loses its balance and domination over land, and much of its people have to exile to the Holy Kingdom.
• 721-2: The Kingdom Of Azuelgatt is doomed. Shamshir disappears.
• 723-5: Lien journeys to the Olivie Ruins and becomes a transcendental being.
• 723-9: Lien meets Shamshir in the Ristaccia ruins and is killed by her. Nox and Matin are born in Novarista.
• 726-9: Agiona converts the kingdom to a queendom by appointing Matin as the first Empress, despite her twin brother Nox being the heir to the throne. Adhuk, the leader of the royal guard, cannot accept it and flees with Nox.
• 736-5: The Spring Of Lourdes, in Fallarien, dries up. Hannes kills everyone on the island before crossing the ocean to Galukia.
• 737-11: Falo Credere Etincelle meets Nox, now leader of a rebellion against the Holy Kingdom, in the depths of the Panan Jungle.
• 739-1: Nox meets Malacia, leader of the pirates, joining forces with her to create an alliance against Noigllado named "Novaria".
• 739-7: Matin drives her army to Sonne Citadel to counter Nox's pirate army, which sparks the Battle of Tetroah.
• 740-1: The zealots of Hannes erect her a sanctuary in Megiddo. Very shortly afterwards, A'Milia appears, breaking the "curse" of Ristaccia, and proceeds to destroy L'erisia.

Trivia

• There is a "Serios Festival" of Trisagion, particulary in the city of Novarista, our equivalent of Dec 25. "今夜はセリオス祭にゃ。浄化の祈りをみんなで歌うにゃ！セリオスの輝きのもとに諸君達に幸たまわらんことを…。"
• There is another Festival, our equivalent of Nov 1 "祭りだにゃ！踊るにゃ！ゝ(*'ω^*)ノわっしょいにゃ"
